Rachel and Christian knew they wanted something a bit different for their engagement cake. We were charged with coming up with something fun, personal and unique - so the bespoke Monopoly cake was born!

The Concept

We took Monopoly, the famous board game, and applied it to their 5 year relationship. Each tile on the board was changed to a significant place for their love story.

We filled 3 tiers full of personal memories. The famous stations were the places they've lived, with chance cards changed to ENGAGED cards, and even jail became the dog house!

The Cake

Each tier featured a different flavour. The top tier was a sumptuous lemon cake, with lemon curd and white chocolate ganache.

The bottom tier was our decadent, mouthwatering and deliciously moist signature chocolate cake.

The standout cake though was the middle tier. To give memories of one their favourite holidays, a trip to Jamaica, we baked a Caribbean fruitcake with mango, pineapple, figs and dates.

Then we added a whole bottle of their favourite rum - Appleton Signature Blend - made in the factory the couple visited on that Jamaican holiday!
